Im Rahmen unseres Projekts “Online-Volunteering für Senior_innen” besuchen wir das Projekt “Granny Cloud” in Indien. Eingeladen ist die Leiterin Suneeta Kulkarni. Sie hat Psychologie an Universitäten in Indien und den USA studiert. Granny Cloud vernetzt Kinder und Jugendliche mit engagierten Erwachsenen in aller Welt über Videomeetings. Dabei lernen sie voneinander sprachlich wie kulturell. Das Webinar wird in englischer Sprache stattfinden. In the framework of a project for the Austrian Ministry of Social Affairs we will invite the director of Granny Cloud Suneeta Kulkarni. Granny Cloud connects young people with volunteers all over the world via video meetings to learn from one another. Text transcript to download .Dr Suneeta Kulkarni has been closely involved with the research and implementation of Sugata Mitra´s ideas for many years. With a background in child development, she has extensive experience with Self Organised Learning Environments, primarily in disadvantaged locations. Suneeta facilitates the Granny Cloud, alongside the core volunteer team, which she has led since it began in 2008. She works with the Grannies to bring self-organised learning to children all over the world. She was the Research Director for The School in the Cloud TED Prize Project from 2013-16 and is based in Pune, India.
